HARDWARE

Tourality reminds of a computer game, though outside and mobile! Hence there are some requirements to the hardware: you need first of all a modern Smartphone  (Android, Nokia, BlackBerry, iPhone, Sony Ericsson, …). To get the GPS data on your cell phone and consequently on Tourality you need a cell phone with an integrated GPS module, or an external Bluetooth GPS-receiver. While playing Tourality you need to be connected to the internet with your network operator. The amount of data transferred for Tourality is usually low.

SOFTWARE

The Tourality app presently is being overhauled and will be available for download in the major app stores such as Apple App Store, Android Market, Ovi Store, and BlackBerry App World. Starting with versions for Android and Java-based devices, soon also a version for iPhone will be provided in the correspondent app store.

However, if you installed the app before September 2010 you will be able to continue playing Tourality just like before.

TOURALITY ACCOUNT

For playing the first game sets and challenges, you can try Tourality without greater efforts and without an own Tourality Account. This way you can figure out how Tourality works. In order to use more functions, like designing own spots and game sets, saving gold-reserves or socializing with other players you will need to get an user-account on the Tourality website.

myTOURALITY

If you create a free Tourality Account you will have access to the “myTourality”-area on tourality.com, including:

• designing spots, points of interest and game sets
• reviewing game sets of the community
• retrospect on your own games
• personal Tourality profile
• browsing other profiles
• browsing other game sets
• saving your highscores and gold-reserves, as well as collecting trophies

If you have an account on facebook, registring on Tourality will be even more easy.

REMARK: Sign-up is currently suspended which means that no new accounts can be created. With the release of the new app this autumn we will open the myTourality area at tourality.com again. We will also introduce a “quick start” feature in the new version that will allow you to play without registering first.
